Squeeze (Live In Concert), Kubix Festival 2023, Sunderland, UK

 

Headline act at the Kubix Festival 2023 in the north east of England. The terrible weather had blighted the event and by the time Squeeze took to the stage to perform their set, including many of their classic songs, a fair percentage of the audience had already bailed out and left the venue altogether. The majority of those who remained had obvoiusly come to see Squeeze perform, so they weren't gonna let the rain put them off.

 

The songwriting skills of Difford & Tilbrook were evident, as they opened their set with 'Take Me I'm Yours' and following up with 'Up The Junction' and 'Cool For Cats' as well as some of their most recent songs. A perfect way to close this years Kubix festival.
